- 2.Work in groups. Your class want to get involved in East Meets West’s work. Prepare a campaign to support it. Discuss your campaign’s. Aims Funding Message Events Volunteer Cooperation with other organizations
- Watch the video, the picture and read the day . Which organization do you think of? December 3rd Aims : Further raise awareness of disabilities issues.
- Culture International Day of Persons with disabilities.
- ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS 1.Who promoted the International Day of Persons with Disabilities + The United Nations 2. What is the aim of this special day? +This special day aims at raising awareness of disability issues and calls for support for the rights and well – being of disabled people. 3.What are the problems that many disabled people are still facing? + They are facing challenges, discrimination, poverty, limited access to education, employment and heath care. 4.What is your suggestion for the theme for next year ?
