6. Grammar Although / despite / in spite of (các liên từ nối) Use : We use although/ despite/ in spite of to express contrast between two pieces of information in the same sentence. We use although before a clause and despite/ in spite of before a noun or noun phrase Main clause + although + S + V + Main clause + despite/ in spite of + a noun or noun phrase.
7. Example: He is so young, he performs excellently. - Although he is so young, he performs excellently. - Despite/ in spite of being so young, he performs excellently. - Despite/ in spite of his young age, he performs excellently
8. Complete the sentences. Use although + a clause from the box.
