S + was/were + V-ing + O + trạng ngữ chỉ thời gian (at 8 o’clock last night) 3. Ba was taking a shower when the phone rang. S + was/were + V-ing + O + When + S + Ved/2 + O. When + S + Ved/2 + O, S + was/were + V-ing + O. 4. Ba was taking a shower while the phone rang. S + was/were + V-ing + O + While + S + Ved/2 + O. While + S + Ved/2 + O, S + was/were + V-ing + O.

Trong câu thường có liên từ “when, while”. 2. Adv.: * at that time, at ( 8 p.m) last night/ 2 days ago, between 8a.m and 9 a.m yesterday, from ( 6 a.m ) to ( 8 a.m ) last Sunday
