(defining relative clause) * Defining relative clause: được sử dụng để xác định danh từ đứng trước nó, nếu không có mệnh đề này thì người đọc/người nghe không biết người viết/ nói đề cập đến người/ vật nào. b, Non- defining relative clause Eg: Viet Nam exports rice. Viet Nam is in the Southest Asia. → Viet Nam, which is in the Southest Asia, exports rice. (non- defining clause) * Non- defining relative clause: được sử dụng để cung cấp thêm cho danh từ đứng trước nó, trong văn viết nó được tách khỏi các thành phần khác trong câu bằng dấu phẩy.
