  1. ĐH Secondary School (School year: 2019 – 2020) English 9 Week: 01 Period: 01 LESSON PLAN REVISION AND TEST I. OBJECTIVES: 1. Knowledge, skills, attitude: -Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to review some basic language notes they havelearned in grade 8. - Skills: Focus on speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. - Attitude: Loving English and self-studying. 2. Students’ abilities achievement: Communicative ability, co-operative ability, problem solving and creation ability, self-study ability. II. PREPARATIONS: - Teacher: Pictures, cassette player, posters, chalks. - Students: Books, Textbooks, pens, rulers. III. HOLDING STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES: 1.Leading into the new lesson:Teacher has students remind names of tenses they have learned in from grade 6 to grade 9. (5 minutes) Tenses : - Present simple - Present progressive - Past simple - Past progressive - Future simple - Present perfect 2. Knowledge formation activity: Teacher’s and students’ activities Content a. Act. 1: 1. Presentation 1 : Aim: Review some ternses (10 minutes) Tenses - Students remind the forms, the usages and the signs 1. Form of each tense. 2. Usage - Teacher has students give examples for the tenses. 3. Signs - Students do an exercise about verb forms. Conclusion: Understand and use. b. Act. 2: 2. Presentation 2 : Aim: Remind how to use passive voice. IV.EXPERIENCES: Week: 01 Period: 02 LESSON PLAN Unit 1: A VISIT FROM A PEN PAL Part: Getting started – listen and read. I. OBJECTIVES: 1. Knowledge, skills, attitude: -Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to make introduction about Vietnam to their pen pal. - Skills: Focus on speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. - Attitude: Getting and introducing about Vietnam to their pen pal. 2. Students’ abilities achievement: Communicative ability, co-operative ability, problem solving and creation ability, self-study ability. II. PREPARATIONS: - Teacher: Pictures, cassette player, posters, chalks. - Students: Books, Textbooks, pens, rulers. III.
