Knowledge, skills, attitude: -Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to get acquainted with “The Media “ and know some new words such as newspapers , magazines , Television , interactive TV. - Skills: Focus on speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. - Attitude: Getting and getting acquainted with “The Media “ and know some new words such as newspapers , magazines , Television , interactive TV. 2. Students’ abilities achievement: Communicative ability, co-operative ability, problem solving and creation ability, self-study ability. II. PREPARATIONS: - Teacher: Pictures, cassette player, posters, chalks. - Students: Books, Textbooks, pens, rulers. III. HOLDING STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES: 1.Leading into the new lesson:(10 minutes) Nowadays, media has become very popular in our life. In unit 5 , we will learn about this interesting topic. First, you work in pairs, ask and answer questions about your favorite activities mentioned in Getting Started. See example in book. A: Which of these in your favorite activity in your free time?
