  1. ĐH Secondary School (School year: 2019 – 2020) English 9 Week: 04 Period: 07 LESSON PLAN Unit 2: CLOTHING Part: Getting Started + Listen and Read I. OBJECTIVES: 1. Knowledge, skills, attitude: -Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know some traditional dresses in some countries, especially ao dai – one of the traditional dress of Vietnamese woman. - Skills: Focus on speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. - Attitude: Getting and understanding some traditional dresses in some countries, especially ao dai – one of the traditional dress of Vietnamese woman. 2. Students’ abilities achievement: Communicative ability, co-operative ability, problem solving and creation ability, self-study ability. II. PREPARATIONS: - Teacher: Pictures, cassette player, posters, chalks. - Students: Books, Textbooks, pens, rulers. III. HOLDING STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES: 1.Leading into the new lesson:(5 minutes) When you go abroad, every one see you and know you come from Viet Nam. Do you know why they know? -Where does the women in picture a come from? -She comes from Japan. -How do you know she comes from Japan? -Because she is wearing a Kimono. Answer a) Japan – Kimono b) Vietnam – Aodai c) Scotland – kilt d) India – sari e) USA – Jeans f) Arabia – veil 2. Knowledge formation activity: Teacher’s and students’ activities Content a. PREPARATIONS: - Teacher: Pictures, cassette player, posters, chalks. - Students: Books, Textbooks, pens, rulers. III.
