Ecotourism efforts in many countries help provide economic growth there – even more than typical tourism +Many of the world’s most beautiful natural sites also happen to exist in impoverished countries, such as Ecuador, Nepal and Madagascar Example: Ecuador is known like the ideal Green Travel Destination Ecuador has been awarded with the World’s Leading Green Destination for two consecutive years. During the international 2016 World Travel Awards, Ecuador managed to earn the title yet again, beating Norway, Costa Rica, Perú among others.
