  1. Noise pollution is one of the popular types of pollution. Cause • Outdoor noise sources. • Noise from humans.
  2. Effects • Harmful to human health: sleep disturbance, stress, raised blood pressure, dull and loss of hearing, insomnia. • In animals, noise can increase the risk of death and contribute to permanent hearing loss.
  3. Solution • Control of indoor noise and construction works. • Encourage people to avoid making too loud noises. • Use sound absorbing materials.
  4. Cause • Dumping pollutants such as detergents, pesticides on farm, oil and other chemicals. • The discharge of wastewater from factories. • Rubbish blockages in rivers.
  5. Effects • Include the destruction of ecosystem of rivers, lakes and the pollution of groundwater, surface water and seawater. • Contaminate people’s drinking water. • Make the water dirty and stink.
  6. Solution • Encourage people to protect water. • Keep the water clean. • Waste and wastewater treatment.
  7. Cause • Eruptions of volcano, dust storms and wildfires. • Smoke from factory, power plant, vehicle, fumes from spray cans and methanes gas from landfills. • People burn fossil fuel.
  8. Effects • Causing harm to human health. • Changing the global climate. • Causing the greenhouse effect. • Prevent photosynthesis of plants. • Causes acid rain, atmospheric precipitations in the form of rain, frost, snow, fog.
  9. Solution • Use a lot useful energy. • Use of public transport and electric vehicles. • Building green buildings to save natural resources and be useful to the environment.
  10. • Soil is the natural resource on the earth which directly supports the life of plants and indirectly of animals. • Soil pollution is a result of dumping plastic or other overuse of chemical fertilizers in agriculture.
  11. Effect of soil pollution • Contaminated vegetation and the decrease of soil fertility. • Harmful effects to human health. • Increasing health threats to people living nearby and on the degraded land. • Lead to respiratory diseases, skin diseases. • Cause other health problems
  12. Solution * Community education and awareness * Use of correct farming techniques. * Recycling of waste before disposal. * Use of organic fertilizers instead of chemical fertiliers and pesticides.
  13. QUESTION 1. What should we do to reduce noise pollution? We should control noise in houses and buildings, encourage people to reduce noise, use sound absorbring materials. 2. What has lead to water pollution? => Water pollution is a result of dumping pollutants such as detergents, pesticides, oil and other chemicals fertilizers in argriculture. The discharge of wastewater from factories also contributes to water pollution. Rubbish blockages in rivers can also cause polution.

Causing harm to human health, changing the global climate, causing the greenhouse effect,, prevent photosynthesis of plants and causes acid rain, atmosphere precipitations in the form of rain, frost, snow, fog. 4. What should we do to reduce soil pollution? => We should use of correct farming techniques, recycling of waste before disposal, use of organic fertilizers instead of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
