- The past simple tense is used to describe the actions of things defined in the past or that have just ended.
- 1. Complete the sentences with did, was, or were. 1. The 2012 Olympic Games ___ held in London. 2. -Who ___ the first man on the Moon? -Neil Armstrong. 3. -I ___ at the gym last Sunday, but I ___ not see you there. -No, I ___ at my aunt's house. 4. - ___you climb Mount Fansipan when you ___ in Sapa? -Yes, I ___ . - 2. Write the correct form of the verbs to complete the conversation. Nick: Hi there. Sonny: Hello, Nick. Did you have a nice weekend? Nick: Yeah, it (1. be) ___ OK. I (2. not do) ___ much.
