- The past simple tense is used to describe the actions of things defined in the past or that have just ended.
- Suggested complete the sentences with: Did, were or was • 1. The 2012 Olympic Games were held in London. • 2. - Who was the first man on the Moon? • - Neil Armstrong. • 3. - I was at the gym last Sunday, but I did not see you there. • -No. I was at my aunt's house. • 4. - Did you climb Mount Fansipan when you were in Sapa? • -Yes, I did.
