  2. 1. Câu phức chỉ kết quả với cấu trúc so that: Khi đảo vị trí ta có dạng yes-no questions. Ví dụ: He is so kind that everybody likes him. → So kind is he that everybody likes him. 2. Ví dụ: John stands in the room. → In the room stands John.
  3. * Lưu ý: Ta chỉ cần đặt động từ trước chủ ngữ. + Nếu chủ ngữ là đại từ, ta giữ nguyên vị trí. Ví dụ: He stands in the room. → In the room he stands. 3. Nếu trạng từ phủ định và bán phủ định ở đầu câu, ta phải dùng dạng đảo ngữ yes-no questions. Các trạng từ đó là: nowhere, no, never, rarely, scarcely, seldom, hardly, not only, no sooner, Ví dụ: In no circumstances will they accept that invitation.

Ví dụ: If he had studied hard last time, he could do this test now.
  6. → Had he studied hard last time, he could do this test now. If you want to make an appointment to see Dr Smith, you can meet him after 10 A.M. → Should you want to make an appointment to see Dr Smith, you can meet him after 10 A.M.
