  7. Weak form of some conjunctions and prepositions Weak form thường được sử dụng trong giao tiếp bình thường, nhất là khi nĩi nhanh. Âm tiết yếu (weak syllable) trong Tiếng Anh chứa một trong các nguyên âm ə , ɪ, i: ,u. Examples: 1. Give it to me! /gɪv ɪt tə ˈmiː/ 2. It takes three hours to get from here to London. /ɪt teɪks ˈθriː ˈaʊəz tə get frəm ˈhɪə tə ˈlʌndən/
  8. Strong form of some conjunctions and prepositions Trường hợp bắt buộc dùng strong form: • Từ đứng ở cuối câu E.g. - I’m fond of chips. (tơi thích khoai tây rán.) / aim ‘fɒnd əv ‘t∫ips / - Chips are what I’m fond of. (Khoai tây rán là thứ tơi thích.) / ‘t∫ips ə ‘wɒt aim ‘fɒnd ɒv /

Relative Pronouns - Đại từ quan hệ WHO -làm chủ ngữ trong • N (person) + WHO + V + O MĐQH -thay thế cho danh từ chỉ người WHOM -làm tân ngữ trong N (person) + WHOM + S + V MĐQH -thay thế cho danh từ chỉ người WHICH -làm chủ ngữ hoặc tân .N (thing) + WHICH + V + O ngữ trong MĐQH .N (thing) + WHICH + S + V -thay thế cho danh từ chỉ vật, hoặc MĐ đứng liền trước nĩ WHOSE chỉ sở hữu cho danh từ N (person, thing) + chỉ người hoặc vật, WHOSE + N + V . thường thay cho các từ: her, his, their, hoặc hình thức ‘s
