  1. ĐH Secondary School (School year: 2019 – 2020) English 9 Week: 05 Period: 09 LESSON PLAN Unit 2 : CLOTHING Part: Listen I. OBJECTIVES: 1. Knowledge, skills, attitude: -Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to listen for specific information and describe what people are wearing. - Skills: Focus on speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. - Attitude: Getting and listening for specific information and describe what people are wearing. 2. Students’ abilities achievement: Communicative ability, co-operative ability, problem solving and creation ability, self-study ability. II. PREPARATIONS: - Teacher: Pictures, cassette player, posters, chalks. - Students: Books, Textbooks, pens, rulers. III. HOLDING STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES: 1.Leading into the new lesson:(5 minutes) What do you usually wear when you go to the party? Why? What kinds of clothing do you like wearing? Why? 2. Knowledge formation activity: Teacher’s and students’ activities Content a. Act. 1: 1. Pre-listen : Aim: Introduction new words. Further practice (Option): Prepare “Unit 2 : Clothing ( Read )” on pages 17 and 18. IV.EXPERIENCES: Week: 05 Period: 10 LESSON PLAN Unit 2 : CLOTHING Part: Read I. OBJECTIVES: 1. Knowledge, skills, attitude: -Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to know more about jeans. - Skills: Focus on speaking, reading, listening and writing skills. - Attitude: Getting and knowing more about jeans. 2. Students’ abilities achievement: Communicative ability, co-operative ability, problem solving and creation ability, self-study ability. II. PREPARATIONS: - Teacher: Pictures, cassette player, posters, chalks. - Students: Books, Textbooks, pens, rulers. III. HOLDING STUDENTS’ ACTIVITIES: 1.Leading into the new lesson:(5 minutes) What type of clothes do you usually wear at school? How do you feel to the uniform at school? 2. Knowledge formation activity: Teacher’s and students’ activities Content a. Act. 1: 1. Pre-reading : Aim: Introduction some new words. (10 minutes) New words : - cotton (n) : vải bông - Write each word in a call out on the board. Do you think jeans are in fashion? 3. Consolidation: Ask students to answer the above questions in fron of class. 4. Using knowledge (Option): Summarize some main ideas about the history of jeans. 5.
